The 2nd annual Mid-Atlantic Salon & Spa Expo will take place on October 26-27 at the Maryland Theater, located at 21 South Potomac Street in Hagerstown. Patrons will hear from Industry leaders from across the country, as well as an art therapist, about the importance of art and mental health. Folks can also join in break-out art sessions and participate in classes on specialties in the beauty industry. A variety of vendors will be on hand for the shopping enthusiasts, and live demonstrations will take place on the Main Stage.
If you’re in the mood for something extra, add-on tickets can be purchased for two special events. On Sunday evening, there will be a networking “meet & greet” cocktail hour at the theater lounge, featuring a drink and light hors d’oeuvres. Patrons can also buy a ticket for a very special business luncheon on Monday at Veva’s on Potomac.
The Expo benefits the Artist’s Palette Scholarship Fund, which helps future aspiring beauty professionals; and The Artist’s Palette Involved, a non-profit that provides continuing education in the beauty and art industries. Our mission is to foster creativity within those communities by offering educational opportunities, scholarships, and resources. Tickets go on sale July 17th. Special student prices are available.
